My latest excursion was to an Oasis in Huacachina where we hopped aboard a questionably integral dune buggy and shot off into the sun at litterally break-neck speeds. This was both terrifying and exhilerating simultaneously. After a few heart stopping minutes we arrived at the first spot where we were given the sand boards which were just pieces of wood with velcro straps on and (more or less) told what to do. We were taken to increasingly steep dunes and eventually brought back to the oasis just in time to catch the end of the sun set over the water.
